I haven’t been on here in a couple of months… since April to be more precise.
There’s been some recent big changes in my life so I needed to put all kind of things aside : but all that time being away from blogging about my geek hobbies made me realize how much I missed it, and how unhappy it made me not being able to geek out like I used to.
I have a part time job as a technician now, and that takes a lot of my time. I also met someone who doesn’t like this “regressive” world I am part of, who doesn’t understand it. Since I cannot share this side of myself, I tried to forget it and move onto becoming someone else. Someone who wasn’t a geek… the result is that I can’t do that.
I am who I am.
For the moment being I decided to keep this to myself but I gotta pursue my hobbies, because they make me truly happy. I feel like everyone is entitled to love what & whom they love, and it’s sad that some have to hide it but unfortunately this is the kind of world we are living in.
Just the fact that I am writing these lines I already feel better. My purpose is simply to connect with people who share my hobbies and can understand them. The purpose of this blog (magazine) was to allow me to meet new friends, cosplayers, celebrities I admire even and attend conventions. That’s the big dream for me, being invited to comic con as press and interview all these folks.
I am opening the comment section so that if you feel like writing to me, or just post your thoughts you can ! This month is incredible in terms of conventions, I already attended the Japan Expo in Paris which was incredible and I’m going to the London Film & Comic Con the last week of July, I am so damn excited ! Two cons I had never been before.

Hello everyone !
I want to apologize for not being able to keep up with my crazy schedule from last month but as it turns out, it was totally unrealistic… I had good intentions, but real life reminded me that sometimes I can’t do everything that I want to, no matter how much I try. I’ve had to make big changes, thus why the magazine was on a two-weeks break.
There’s a couple good news though, first being that I’ve managed pretty well to schedule things up over the weekend for the week to come. Which means you’re not missing on any updates & getting them on time. Second cool thing is that I’ve finished linking all the websites together so you can browse through and check our social medias.
Third, I’ve had to tone down my expectations on what I can & cannot do so the new schedule I’m following right now is much lighter and easier for me to keep up with. I’ve had to give up major stuff I wished doing, but in the end it’s all for the better because from now on not only is it going to be more structured, but also I can have a life and breathe outside of work !
Have fun for the remaining weeks of March and I’ll see y’all on the daily’
Our second cover of the year looks bomb as hell ! I’m so happy I’m keeping up my good resolutions so far for this year. I have been more personally involved last month, I wrote some reviews, I shared more sciency stuff but I have much more planned for the months to come… I’m just taking my time because I want to integrate this new schedule to my routine, and it’s been really challenging so far. I know I can do better, and I will, but honestly I live a very hectic life it’s not always that simple when you’re a total control-freak like me, who’s managing everything by herself.
I started to share fun artworks, and selfies to our Instagram and then it hit me; I should totally share them here as well. Also I must admit I’ve been pretty lousy at scheduling content, so you usually get things later than when I was hoping to post them. You still get everything I’ve meant to put out there, but starting this month I’m gonna be super serious about this scheduling thing so it can at least ease my mind and help for a better functioning of the mag, by connecting on time with y’all.
Two kinda cool surprises to come – first is by the end of the week I’m gonna be linking all our websites together, they will be updated so that you can follow us on our other platforms. Second, is that I’m gonna start this makeup cosplaying thing, I just think it’s awesome and I want to play around and I guess it will amuse me. That’s it for our editorial of the month ! Enjoy my geekiness and stay with us for all the amazing things we’re gonna explore together 🙂
Wow… there hasn’t been a single cover made for 2017 – oopsy ! I kinda forgot why I made this place, it wasn’t supposed to be a basic blog where I’m just sharing my favorite cosplay or geek art… but unfortunately, I was super busy last year and I totally put aside this hobbie of mine. I mean I kept updating quite often, but it felt totally impersonal didn’t it ? I feel like I’m managing my time better now, and honestly I just want to come back to it and be more involved like I’ve always wanted to.
What can you expect ? well, it’s definitely going to be the year where you’ll see more of me, whether on picture or video or when you read my content; I love writing and I haven’t been doing that enough, which is too bad because everyone needs practice if they want to become better at something. What you’ll get more of concretely are science stuff, all kinds of reviews, TV show talks & horror movies plethora, and of course still a lot of cosplay !
Man… I love Halloween. October is like a month-fest of creepy-horror-awesomemness. It’s my favorite period of the year !
I’m back in Paris and attending the Comic Con here on Friday 21st October : can’t wait for that. My primary goal for this convention is to meet my favorite cosplayer LeeAnna Vamp, who I’ve been trying to get a picture with, and small chat to tell her how cool she is, for YEARS !! So, this is gonna be my time to shine because she is officially invited to Paris Comic Con and I can’t miss it.
Besides that, this month is packed with some of best geek TV shows that are finally starting their new seasons. I’m excited mostly for The Flash & Supergirl, but I’m watching them ALL. Lots of reviews coming up, lots of binge watching on weekends when I have free time for that.
That’s about it guys, I’m real excited as usual about all the upcoming events and series & movies, and I’m also super grateful you’re sticking up with me and hopefully enjoying the content I share here on the mag.
Hello fellow geek friends, and welcome to a new issue of Geekland magazine. The most exciting news for me this month, is that I’m coming back to Paris and will be able to attend Comic Cons there (& maybe even in London !) – so stay tuned for the official schedule if you’re looking forward to meet up 🙂
This month is all about being more serious, and productive. I think you’ll definitively notice a positive change, there’s so many awesome things planned that are going to be really exciting to share. I’m just happy that I will finally have time on my hands, which will be dedicated to the mag and its content.
I couldn’t be more vague I guess… so let me detail it a bit for you, my most awesome reader : it won’t be (almost) only about cosplay anymore, although that is gonna remain a big part – as you can tell from this month’s cover. We’re gonna dive into the extensive geek world, and report all the latest news. So…
